Like all Ruby hotels, "Ella", the hotel in Cologne, follows the philosophy of lean luxury style, which is orientated towards the culture of the respective location. umdasch was called upon for the structural implementation: as general contractor (GC) and partner for the exclusive interior fit-out. This meant refining the building envelope and realising the structure of all the rooms and public areas, including the lobby and bar.

Le big TamTam, Hamburg
As general contractor, umdasch realised the interior fit-out of the food market "Le big TamTam" in the listed Hanseviertel district. The challenges: Listed building protection, complex logistics and high technical requirements. The umdasch Store Makers were responsible for the ceiling and wall panelling, precise tiling work and customised door installations. Acoustically effective wall panels and sound-absorbing ceiling flocking were used to optimise the indoor climate. Despite the logistical hurdles in the city centre, the project was completed on time and to the highest quality.

Perfect interaction between different trades: As an experienced general contractor, umdasch took on the complex construction tasks for the L'Osteria in Metzingen (DE) and coordinated and supervised the various trades. Open ceiling constructions with concrete columns, exposed concrete and a sophisticated technical control system are just some of the many highlights of this project. One of our favourite projects in the (system) catering sector.
