In Hamburg, umdasch acted as general contractor for the German expansion of the British group David Lloyd Meridian Spa & Fitness. The task: to open five fitness and wellness clubs within six months, with around 15,000 square metres of converted space in the existing building, plus ongoing operations. David Lloyd Leisure took our promise "We take care of everything" literally and let us get on with it. And getting things done often meant working on the edges of the day. Or, because of the tight schedule, starting construction work while the project was still in the execution planning stage. But we kept our word: Costs, quality, deadlines - a precision landing.
